Marketing a Business

A company significantly benefits from traffic on their website. Instead of waiting until a product is finished, it is better to start marketing it early. Marc Gardener’s reasoning was that, “you’ll spend too much time and money on your product without building anticipation, generating demand, and getting early customer feedback.” He also advised that when starting a company it is best to half the time on the actual development of the product but also spend equal amounts marketing and networking. It is just as important to actually make the product and marketing.

In order to market successfully, it’ll be helpful if your business popped up on the first page of google if someone searched your business. To help your business’ page rank, there are some low cost marketing strategies to help the business be closer to the top of the search engine. First off, if your site is thought as to be “trustworthy” it will be closer to the top of the search engine. In order to be considered as “trustworthy” some steps that a business can take are:Writing a better Website copy, listing the business on local directory and review sites, publishing guest blog posts, and affordable media marketing. Following these steps will help achieve a higher rank. These steps will help there to be more traffic on the page because there will be more sources that can link to the business’ page.
