Hong Shao Rou (red-braised pork belly)
I’m a senior studying Government and Creative Writing (poetry). Specifically, I’m really interested in intersections of Afro-Asia within music, like we just saw in the playlist. But also discussions of “authenticity” in Asian music overseas like K-Pop where black culture is often emulated explicitly. And I’m also curious to incorporate poetry with sensorial elements of food. Food is a large emotional component for me, which is why I was really happy to see “tomato & egg” mentioned several times as it is also a favorite of mine 🙂
