This article talks about how digital networks will deliver next-generation law enforcement tactics and improve citizen safety. In class we discussed how they use ideas related to power and centrality in networks. This idea may be useful in the development of these information graphs when determining root causes of violence that law enforcement may deal with. Further, if a citizen reports to the ‘next-generation 911’ centers with information such pictures and videos, this will only add another, extremely useful, component to information analyzed by organizations, leading to a more safe and dependable law enforcement.
