Penguin! New google search algorithm

This article talks about the new algorithm used by Google: Penguin. It has recently been implemented into Google’s core search algorithm. As discussed in class, the internet is always changing and so is the search algorithm. Page creators want the highest page with best in/out bound links, and Google needs to make sure each page is relevant and the best options. Because of this balance each link needs to be review by Google every so often. The algorithm has always been good and accurate, but the web is constantly changing and expanding, and so must Google’s algorithm. Penguin is unique and revolutionary because it does not require a review of links by hand over time; instead it does it automatically in the algorithm. There is “no wait between updates” which speeds up the whole balance process. Soon in the future, I am sure Google will need another new algorithm to rank in and out bound links as the internet catches up….
