The Sustainable Cropping Systems Lab at Cornell University is seeking Undergraduate Research Assistants for summer 2025. Are you hard-working, detail-oriented, comfortable being dirty and dusty, and interested in sustainable agriculture? This position offers research experience, a taste of graduate school, time outside and in the lab.
Join a positive, fun, and hard-working team to answer organic cropping systems questions related to climate change. Tasks include plant and soil sampling, sample processing, and data entry. Our lab is an inviting, inclusive, hard-working community where friendships are built around plants and soil.
Approximately 40 hrs/wk.
Start date: May 19, 2025 (flexible).
End date: August 22, 2025 (flexible).
Starting wage $17/hr.
This position can also serve as a for-credit internship.
