It was really interesting to learn about the financial reasons why the Gothics are not being renovated yet, and the other changes that need to be made to campus buildings (ex. RPCC) before work can be done on the Gothics. Surprisingly, many students were interested in having a Rose Cafe with the head of facilities (maintenance?) in order to find out more about how Cornell prioritizes renovations on campus.
I missed the Rose Cafe this week, but it sounds like it was a great discussion. A Rose Cafe on how Cornell prioritizes renovations would be so interesting. I feel like there’s construction/renovations going on all over campus, and I keep hearing about more renovation projects that are planned for the coming years. It would be really interesting to hear how administrators decide which project to start on next.
