Assistant professor Neil Mattson and technician Tim Putzke load vegetable transplants bound for Tompkins Community Action (TCA). Mattson grew nearly 5,000 transplants to be distributed through TCA to 100 low-income households, many of whom will be partnered with garden mentors to be sure that their gardening experience will be a success.
