The Cornell Small Farms Program is seeking a student intern for summer employment. This position is offered at 35-39 hours/week. The student must have strong writing, editing, and organizational skills. Must have some background in farming and an enthusiasm for learning more about small farms in New York. Please note: This position is for a Cornell undergraduate, continuing student.
Responsibilities include:
- Write 4-6 profiles of SARE grant recipients (Sustainable Ag Research and Education) For more info, see www.nesare.org
- Compile the Small Farms Monthly E-newsletter
- Coordinate Small Farms Program List-serve
- Small Farms Quarterly Magazine production assistance
- Database entry and mailing assistance
- Website updates
- Co-coordinate 4H Career Exploration Days
Position is based in 15A Plant Science Building. Stipend is $10/hour. Position runs from 05/23/2011 to 08/10/2011.
