Cornell Tools of Engagement Program Group Forming

Interested in getting up-to-date on classroom and online technologies used to support teaching and learning? Academic Technologies is joining forces with the SUNY Tools of Engagement Program (TOEP) to expand tech-infused pedagogy within the Cornell community.

We are seeking faculty, staff or TAs to participate in the Cornell TOEP community during the 2015-2016 school year. Participants develop digital literacy skills by participating in a series of brief but focused online learning exercises and activities, on their choice of topics ranging from:

  • collaborative spaces
  • mobile apps for learning
  • social media in the classroom
  • how to effectively use video and audio
  • productivity
  • + other relevant technological trends

TOEP scholars will also have the opportunity to share experiences, resources and ideas with a broad network of collaborators both here at Cornell and at other participating universities. Technological tools and systems that are available to the Cornell community will also be a focus.

We are interested in any and all skill and comfort levels when it comes to your experience using technology in your teaching practice.

Next Steps?

Visit the TOEP registration page or contact us at acadtech@cornell.edu  for additional information. Incentives, including professional development awards are available to those who register no later than February 12, 2016 and complete the self-paced program by April 1, 2016.
