In a record landslide, 3 researchers from the Specht Lab were awarded undergraduate research awards from the Botanical Society of America. Nola Rettenmeier, Arya Saksena, and Nick Rocha were each awarded $500.00 to support their ongoing research. Nola and Arya are working with PhD Student Heather Phillips on floral fusion, and Nick is working with with PhD student Adriana Hernandez on pollination and biogeography of Calochortus.
