Zero to Three recently published the findings of a national survey to determine the challenges Millennial and Generation X parents face. Despite having diverse backgrounds, respondents had very similar attitudes, beliefs and goals for their parenting.
Here are some of the survey’s key findings:
- 91% say that parenting is their greatest joy.
- 73% say that parenting is their biggest challenge.
- 83% of parents from all backgrounds agree that good parenting can be learned
- 69% of parents say that if they knew more positive parenting strategies, they would use them.
- 54% of parents wish they had more information about how to be a better parent.
