Loving Your Kids is Easy… Living with them can be Hard Work!
They’re so funny, they’re so maddening. They’re creative, bright and… messy. In our day-to-day lives with our children, they evoke in us both our deepest love and, at times, our hottest anger. They bring out the best in us and then (sometimes only minutes later…) the worst in us. Family life can feel like an uphill battle for parents, particularly if they have not established rules, routines and positive ways to guide children’s behavior. It doesn’t have to be like this…
CCE’s Family Health and Wellness Program is presenting “Discipline is NOT a Dirty Word”, a series of 3 workshops for parents of children 3 -12 years old, on Thursdays May 1, 8 and 15 at our Education Center in Riverhead. During this program, we will discuss ways to live more cooperatively with your children, avoid the pitfalls of power struggles and how to spend more time in conversation with your children and less time yelling.
This workshop is being presented as part of our Spring Parenting Series. To register, click here, and for full a full listing of program descriptions, open the attachment below.
