I have developed a website of the grants and other sources of funds that are available to produce (fruit and vegetable) producers in New York State. I will update this list as I put out this newsletter. I am focusing on programs that for-profit farms are eligible to apply for, any exceptions are noted. The exceptions are generally grants that can benefit farms, but the applicant needs to be a public entity or non-profit. For these grants, farms interested in these programs should identify collaborators ahead of time.
Not every program on the list is currently accepting applications, but (where possible) I have tried to indicate when the funding for the annual programs tends to be available so that you can plan ahead.
