Significant rainfall was recorded across a majority of the central, southern and eastern US this past week. Accumulations averaging between 0.5 and 1.5 inches were seen in the East, South, and Central Plains regions. Some areas of New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Wisconsin, and central Minnesota received up to 4 inches of rain.
Pockets of extreme accumulation exceeding 6 inches of rain were recorded near Allentown, PA as well as Vineland and Newark, NJ in the east. In the upper midwest near Solon Springs, WI and Virginia, MI, similar amounts were observed.
