This weekend I tour a walking tour of the Botanical Gardens. I had been there a few times for class and enjoyed getting the chance to just walk around the gardens for fun. My favorite garden is the winter garden because when it gets colder there is actually a lot of color there and it is a nice little burst of color in the white snow! I am planning on taking the time to go for walks and potentially more walking tours more often!
Wow the garden seems like a wonderful place to take a trip once in a while. Also, as you mention the winter garden I really hope it really does become colorful and pretty because I need to take more pictures of myself on campus as I have been lacking this semester. But anyways, I need to clear my mind and take a well-needed stress-free walk to the Botanical Gardens sometime soon, especially during prelim season.
Since the beginning of quarantine, my mom has been dedicated to attending and expanding our garden. Before I left home for Ithaca, I made sure to take an extra-long pause to admire her plants before I got in the car and as I walk through campus now, I’m always reminded of her bright flowers. I’ve never been to the Botanical Gardens, but I would love to make a visit and send some pictures to my mom for inspiration!
I’ve been to the botanical gardens once when I arrived on campus, but I wonder what it looks like during the winter. I think the winter garden would be a cool place to visit in the next few weeks, so thanks for the recommendation!
