MARC KOHLBRY

Dr. Marc Kohlbry’s dissertation entitled, Noise Index: Towards the Limits of Cybernetic Poiēsis, is a historical and literary inquiry into the concept of noise, particularly its manifestation in postwar French avant-garde poetics. Marc has published many research articles in academic journals and has taught for several years at Cornell University. His work has been supported by the Embassy of France in the United States (Chateaubriand fellowship program), the Mellon Foundation, the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies, and by Cornell’s German Studies and Comparative Literature Departments and Society for the Humanities.
