Dr. Joe Zappa studied French and Comparative literature at Brown then Cornell University, where he wrote a doctoral dissertation on the relation between the literary and data, examining the increasingly common deployment of computation in literary criticism and the status of technology in 20th-century French literature and philosophy. A longtime editor of Street Fight, he is now a marketing communications and content consultant. Joe was an inaugural member of the Humanities Lab during his Cornell years.
