Emerson Moore is a Cornell undergraduate student majoring in mathematics and comparative literature.  He is particularly interested in the intersections between mathematics and indigenous ways of knowing across cultures and continents.  He has previously done work on the history of mathematics with regard to Umbral Calculus and African linguistics. He is providing editorial assistance for the “mechanema” book series and is also part of the art and bonobo project.
