ExpenseIt is Now Part of Concur Mobile

This screenshot of the Concur mobile application shows the ExpenseIt button as the second button from the left at the bottom of the mobile screen.Did you know that ExpenseIt is now available inside the SAP Concur mobile app? That’s right, Concur integrated the ExpenseIt technology, and now you only need one mobile app for capturing receipts. ExpenseIt used to be a separate mobile app by SAP Concur. Using the ExpenseIt feature captures your receipts using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) so that Concur is populated automatically with all of the necessary information from the receipt, such as the vendor name, date of the transaction, and the transaction amount. It even itemizes hotel bills for you!

Beginning January 1, 2019, the separate ExpenseIt app will no longer be supported. If you haven’t already, you should begin using ExpenseIt in the Concur mobile app now.

Also, access to receipts stored in the ExpenseIt app will end on January 14, 2019, so if you have receipts you haven’t yet exported to Concur, you should do so by that date. After you’ve confirmed that your receipts are in Concur, it’s safe to delete the ExpenseIt app from your device and use the Concur mobile app to submit your receipts.

To use ExpenseIt, just tap “ExpenseIt” at the bottom of the Concur mobile app. Of course, you can still email your receipts to receipts@expenseit.com to get the same OCR technology advantages.
