We are now at sustained trap catch in all the eastern NY counties.
We reached sustained catch in Clinton county on July 11th, with 7 males and 2 females trapped in drowning jar traps and 3 males trapped on sticky traps.
We also reached sustained catch in Saratoga County on July 12th in a blueberry planting, with 14 males and 5 females trapped in drowning jar traps and 4 males and 2 females trapped on sticky traps.
Western New York counties have begun to catch SWD but are not yet at sustained trap catch.
