She is working within SIPS, Entomology and EEB to design and implement active learning pedagogy and to create and promote online classroom communities with a current focus on developing cross-cutting materials for our Entomology, Herpetology and Plant Systematics courses. She is also working more broadly to develop inclusive, equitable and antiracist classroom practices within the field of Organismal Biology. Prior to Cornell, Christina was an Associate Professor of Biology at Wells College where she was responsible for all the anatomy, physiology, and zoology-based courses, as well and introductory biology and Senior Capstone projects. She was also a member of the President’s Advisory Council on Diversity Equity and Inclusion, the Academic Standing Advisory and Admissions Committee, and a founding member of the Wells College Antiracist Pedagogy Collective.
