4/30/24 – PSSP 2024 Summer RA Positions have been Filled.

The Resident Advisor (RA) positions are on-campus, part-time, live-in positions that are an important part of PSSP. RAs are the “front line” staff who will interact regularly with PSSP Scholars through oversight of the health and safety within the residence, enforcement of policy on the floors and within the residence hall as well as support the PSSP Program Mentors with creating a welcoming and inclusive community within the residence hall. 

Required Qualifications:

• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AND LIVE ON CAMPUS THE ENTIRE TIMEFRAME OF THE PROGRAM: JUNE 9, 2024, through AUGUST 8, 2024.
• Rising junior or higher with full-time student status
• Grade point average of 2.5 or greater required and in good academic standing (as defined by the individual colleges)
• One year or more experience working residential life in a college or university setting
• Position requires working 25 hours/week with hours primarily outside of 8AM – 5PM, as well as weekends and holidays (Juneteenth and Fourth of July) to support the program as part of a substantial on-call rotation
  • Classes, research or additional part-time jobs are permitted but must not exceed a time commitment of more than 10 hours a week and MUST be approved by the Summer Programs Assistant Director.
