What: March for the Animals 2023
Where: Stewart Park, Ithaca, NY
When: October 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM
Why: To celebrate our beloved pets by marching for the animals with family and friends to benefit the SPCA of Tompkins County.
From the SPCA of Tompkins County:
On what is likely to be a beautiful fall day, we will be starting with a 20-minute walk at Stewart Park located on gorgeous Cayuga Lake.
A luncheon following the walk takes place in the spacious and historic Large Pavilion, in existence for more than 100 years. Comfortable picnic tables inside the pavilion offer generous seating for family and friends. There are bathrooms with running water, free parking, and a paved walking path.
The very talented Rachel Philipson will capture photos (like this one!) along the walk. A perennial favorite Ithaca Bakery will prepare and pack lunches with delicious new sandwich selections this year.
This year’s March for the Animals t-shirt is a fantastic dusky lavender, pure fabulosity for pet lovers of all ages.
