New Case Management Software Becomes Available to Animal Shelters at No Cost

Companion Case Management (CCM) is the newest module from Doobert, designed in collaboration with Dallas Animals Services (DAS), Dallas Pets Alive (DPA) and Spay Neuter Network (SNN). It is a software program that enables multiple parties to work together by creating “coalitions” of people, groups and/or organizations to collaborate on cases that are within their organization and track an animal’s journey from beginning to end, within the sheltering network.

Including transfer, surrender, and foster activities, CCM’s dashboard has the ability to store the pet’s information and track the progress status. It also offers templates that can be used when communicating with pet owners, including text messaging through the system with the same templates that can be used for email correspondences.

CCM also contains a reporting feature to pull data based on your specific animal organization or using the filter feature to report on a particular case.

The best part of this collaboration is the cost: free! It was extremely important to both DPA and Doobert that this platform be available and accessible for animal organizations. This program does have the ability to interact with existing shelter software, but depending on the kind of software your organization is currently using it may be more or less user friendly. Chris Roy, Founder and President of Doobert says it’s possible for CCM to work with your organization’s current software, but they may need additional information before getting started.
