We offer ongoing assistance to shelters through email and Friday office hours. Although we are unable to perform on-site consultation services outside the region at this time, we can still still provide assistance. Our Shelter Medicine experts are here to help answer questions and find solutions. In 2019, we responded to over 100 emails from over 55 different sheltering organizations. Topics included outbreak response assistance, protocols for care, treatment of animals, facilities design, and advice pertaining to COVID-19.

Led by MSMP faculty, this forum is a place for shelter veterinarians, staff, and volunteers to ask questions and discuss their concerns.
