    What a peculiar but great find. The line: “Injustice infects us all” really does express how capitalism can force an individual to not only experience injustice but also commit acts of injustice against others as a subjective means of survival. I look forward to discussing this with you in class!

    I really enjoy the linkages the song draws between imperialism, financialization, and capitalism. I wonder where the footage is from, though – definitely an interesting amalgamation of images, videos, words, and sounds. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Thanks for your comments! I think you’re both totally right about the important message of this song. And Darren, in response to your thought, I agree the visuals are quite striking. I also have questions about not only the origins of the videos and images, but also the choice of editing. The peculiar discoloration throughout the music video seems like a clear nod towards futurism as it makes this song seem almost other-worldly.
