Sweet Potato Pie ft Lucas Sin

Hi guys, just wanted to share how my sweet potatoes turned out. Definitely a bit charred, but absolutely delicious. I didn’t have any creme fraiche on hand, so the closest thing I could substitute with was yogurt (taking creative liberties)! I was plain but slightly sweetened so I think it did the same creamy/dairy/tart thing that creme fraiche would’ve added. I spiced it up with cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, and the granola I stash at all times.

Overall, it was a rocky start for me. My potatoes must’ve really got a good chill in the freezer because it took forever for them to thaw and even longer for them to cook. It was well worth the wait though because it was really giving me sweet potato pie!

Shout out to Lucas for helping me out with dinner over ZOOM, which is just the craziest thing to me. I’m going to embrace the e-cooking/live demo thing so much more now and maybe try some of his other demos on Instagram and such!
