The ‘Classic’ Teams version will be unsupported starting July 1, 2024.
If you are seeing the ‘Switch now’ message in MS Teams, now is an excellent time to click that button and upgrade.
The upgrade to New Teams is quick. The interface and layout are slightly different, but the performance of the new app is much better.
If you are seeing this icon in the upper left corner of Teams window, you already have the New Teams installed. 😊
