Downloading All Student’s Rubric Scores to an Excel Spreadsheet
You need to follow these directions only once for the browser on your PC. When complete, you will get an Export Scores button in the Canvas SpeedGrader. This button will only appear on browsers where you have installed the TamperMonkey extension and the Export Rubric Scores script.
Install TamperMonkey
TamperMonkey is a free Chrome extension. It is also available for other browsers, but we outline Chrome here because it’s the most popular browser at the Vet School.
- Go to https://tampermonkey.net
- Click the Get From Store button in the middle of the page:
- Click Add to Chrome
Install Export Rubric Scores Plugin
- Go to https://oit.colorado.edu/services/teaching-learning-applications/canvas/enhancements-integrations/enhancements
- The Export Rubric Scores Plugin is about half-way down the page. Click the title to highlight:
- Click the “Export Rubric Scores source page” link
- Click the Install button
Exporting Rubric Scores
Now that the plugin is installed, you can find the rubric you want scores for and download them to Excel:
- In your Canvas Course, bring up the Assignment or Quiz that contains your rubric
- Click SpeedGrader at the top right:
- You should now see a button for Export Rubric Scores at the top.
- Click it and you are all set!
