How to import content from an exported Canvas course file
13 STEPS
1. The first step is to navigate to the course in which would like to add the content and click Settings
2. Click Import Course Content
3. Click to open the dropdown menu
4. Select Canvas Course Export Package
5. Click Choose File and locate the course export file on your computer
6. Click Select specific content
7. Click Import
8. Click Select Content
9. You can click the arrows to the left to expand the content list
10. Click to choose the content you would like to import into your course.
11. Once you are done click Select Content
12. Once Canvas is done importing your content, you will see the green “completed” icon. You can then click Modules to check on your content.
13. The content is now in your course.
