Create A New Evaluation: Use this option for new evaluations

• Select the cousrse you want to create an evaluation for
• Change the available options (beginning date and end, ending date and time). Click “OK” when done.

Double-Blind Policy: Faculty cannot view responses to evaluation until after final grades are submitted and students can’t submit evaluation if grades have been posted.

• Select students to complete evaluation. All enrolled students will be populated from ClassLists. Click “Modify” to add or remove students from list, then click “OK” when done.
• Select faculty members who are authorized to view responses. Click “Modify” to add or remove faculty from the list, click “OK” when done.
• Edit the evaluation by using the tool bar along the left

Change An Existing Evaluation: Use this to modify an existing evaluation.

Notice that the ability to edit goes away after students have responded.  From here you may change the dates the evaluation is available (click on date-range); edit the evaluation (click edit button); delete the evaluation (if you are the evaluation owner); and modify the student list or the list of faculty who may view the responses.

You will only see a listing of your own evaluations for the last two years.  If you wish to change access to evaluation that was created more than two years ago, click “View All Years” at the top-right of the page.

Viewing Responses

• Select View Responses”
• Select course to view responses. Click on the tabs to view the results of individuals, comments, and averages with and without charts.

Generating a Teacher Evaluation

Teacher Evaluations may be generated from the View Responses menu.  Department Chairs and their administrative assistance may generate a teaching report for faculty within their department.  Alternatively faculty have access to generate their own teaching evaluations.  Statistics are generated on the fly at the time the report is produced.
