We are searching for a Bachelor graduate with a Biology Major who is available immediately for a Research Tech IV position in the Tissue Stem Cell Biology Lab led by Tudorita Tumbar, Professor in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Cornell University. The successful candidate should have at least 2-4 years of lab experience in areas related to our work. The candidate will in part (~40% time) cover lab-managing functions including ordering reagents, lab equipment maintenance, training new personnel, creating and updating databases and the lab website, updating the mouse protocol, and other lab-organization functions, such as scheduling group meetings.  For the remaining 60% the candidate will assist with experimental work as follow: mouse-breeding and genotyping related work; tissue collection and processing; performing cell and molecular biology procedures including cell culture work, fluorescence microscopy, fluorescence activated cell sorting, sample processing for genomic analysis.
