We reached sustained trap catch today in Albany county, in traps set in ripe raspberries. In total 41 males and 9 females were trapped on both red sticky as well as jar drowning traps.
We also had a re-catch in Saratoga county today, but it does not count as sustained trap catch because no spotted wing were trapped at that site last week (but were trapped there two weeks ago). We will continue to trap in Saratoga county until we catch swd in the traps for two weeks in a row.
Thank you to Laura McDermott and Natasha Field for checking those traps!
