Hello all!

I am really excited to be a Rose Scholar for the next two semesters. To start off the year, I attended the table talk session that was held in the Rose seminar room yesterday. The conversation was led splendidly, as we ventured into discussion about foreign countries- particularly China, and our perception of the world around us. It is very important to take a step back and reflect on our stance in the world because it is easy to forget the differences in culture and traditions of other nations. Therefore, the fact that we discussed issues in politics, cultures, and our perspectives on others nations inspired me to always be mindful of our diverse backgrounds, especially here at Cornell. 🙂
