Essential Business Required to Provide Facemasks to Employees

Due to a recent legislative change, you may be seeing more facemasks being used while you are out and about. By Executive Order from NY State Governor, as of 8:00 PM tonight, all employers of essential workers are required to provide face masks for their workers to wear while in contact with the public.

Cornell Makes Donation to Local Small Business Fund

Today the Cornell Chronicle ran a story about the significant donation Cornell has made to a fund which will help support local small business during the COVID-19 crisis.

Vulnerable Population Shopping Hours

Many businesses in the Ithaca area are now providing hours devoted to populations most vulnerable to Coronavirus, including senior citizens and those who are immunocompromised. Details of when and where are included in the graphic below:
