Teeth and jaws from a variety of animals bring to life the feeding capabilities of different species and illustrate the connection between tooth morphology/function and tooth health. Books, lab protocol, and other materials are provided. Teachers are encouraged to use this kit with CIBT’s newly-updated Teeth Unit lab.
This kit includes:
- 10 small mirrors
- 1 cow jaw
- 4 T-Rex tooth molds
- 4-R raccoon jaws
- 4-C coyote jaws
- 5 of each type of tooth:
- A cow molar
- B beaver incisor
- C coyote molar
- E cow incisor
- F bobcat canine
- G coyote canine
- H bobcat molar
- I horse molar
- J coyote incisor
- K raccoon canine
- L bobcat incisor

Teachers must provide:
- Rubber bands
- Casting medium for rubber mold of T-Rex tooth (e.g. Plaster of Paris, Perfect Cast)
- Mixing cup
- Nail file, nail polish (optional)
- Coffee stirrers or Q-tips
- Antibacterial hand soap
- Snacks (e.g. bread, carrots, cookies, raisins, apples)
