Each kit contains:

• 2 microscopes, each with 4X, 10X and 20X objectives
• 1 box plastic slides
• 1 box plastic slide covers
• 1 vial methylene blue stain
• 2 sets of 6 prepared microscope slides (insects, animals, plants, tiny creatures, textiles, pollen & spores)
• Lab manual

Teachers may supply:

• Hay, grass cuttings, and/or algae
• Rubbing alcohol
• Pond/natural water
• Toothpicks
• Interesting items to view under microscope (e.g. insects, flowers, fabric, seeds, feathers…)
