During Week Nine at PASTA, it hit me how close the experience was coming to an end. Talking to my team at our weekly meeting was bittersweet knowing we were close to completing an amazing project and also knowing I wouldn’t be seeing them regularly. While I continued to edit the curriculum, I wanted to make sure that the most important needs of the community were being addressed. Thus, I created a needs assessment for both caregivers and youth. It consisted of questions based on the curriculum and a Kahoot to make it more accessible to the kids! While I hoped this could inform my last edits of the program, I think the assessments might be best served moving forward after I leave. While I tend to enjoy having things neatly wrapped up, I am glad that my summer will serve the community when I am gone.
