The Conference was designed for novices, experts, scientists and practitioners to better understand systems thinking as applicable across the disciplines and in any field, topic, issue, or problem. The theme, “Any Person, Any System” confirmed the emergence of the 4th historical wave of Systems Thinking as field that are rooted in the universal patterns of cognition that underlie systems thinking. The previous Cornell Systems Thinking Conference drew over 900 people and was the largest of its kind in the world. The 2022 Conference drew over 2000 people and set the new record for largest systems thinking conference in the world.
