Brewers Digest 63 (5): 12-15, 1988
K.J. Siebert
The second in a series of articles describing the use of commercial microcomputer programs in breweries. This article describes what word processing is, and the kind of tasks for which it is particularly useful. Accessory programs (spelling checkers, thesaurus programs, indexing and footnoting facilities, grammar and punctuation checkers, and mail merge programs) that extend the capabilities of word processing are also discussed.
