Lab News 2017

December 2017: Amy was selected to give a talk at the annual Endocrine Society conference in Chicago in March!  Way to go, Amy!


November 2017: Amy has been selected as a Post-doctoral Scholar in the Cornell Stem Cell Program!!  Congratulations!


October 2017: Congratulations to Amy, who serves as first-author on an invited commentary in the journal EBioMedicine entitled “Important considerations for studies of circulating microRNAs in clinical samples.”


September 2017: Congratulations to Alisha (who serves as lead author) and Matt (who serves as co-author) on the acceptance of our manuscript “Systems genetics identifies a co-regulated module of liver microRNAs associated with plasma LDL cholesterol in murine diet-associated dyslipidemia” in Physiological Genomics!


August 2017: Congratulations to Bailey, Mike, and Ajeet on the publication of our invited review in Stem Cells International!


June 2017: The Sethupathy lab has moved to Cornell!  We are currently looking for energetic and creative students and post-doctoral fellows.  Please contact Praveen (praveens@cornell.edu) if you are interested.


March 2017: Congratulations to Rowan for the 1st place prize in the Metals Specialty Section for Graduate Student Posters at the Annual Society for Toxicology Meeting! Also, her review article on arsenic exposure, microRNAs, and diabetes is now online at Current Diabetes Reports.


March 2017: The lab has been awarded a grant from the Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation starting in June 2017!


February 2017: Bailey’s latest first-author paper in the Journal of Biological Chemistry has appeared on-line.


January 2017: Congrats to Matt on the publication of miRquant 2.0, a comprehensive tool for for the annotation and quantification of miRNAs and other small RNAs from sequencing data.
