Goodbye

I am now viewing this movie from a different lens. Recently my own grandmother has passed away and I am sad that I did not get to really see her off or be there for her. This movie made me think of the amount of goodbyes we have missed out on because of this virus. Not even just looking at the numerous people lost everyday but just at simple things like not getting to say a proper bye to any of the senior I have spend 3 years making memories too. I really hope Cornell finds some way to bring them back so I can actually say a proper bye.

Bringing it back to the movie it was very pleasant to see Aquafina in a movie like this. I usually hate her because of her appropriating ways. I forreal hate her dumb blaccent because as you can see from the movie she doesn’t speak like that. But I digress it was a good film.

Just Get Divorced

This movie was very interesting I guess. I didn’t like the acting because Bothe actors are very mediocre. And I wondered why this movie was getting more buzz than The Fence a movie which I believe did way better at a struggling couple. Which then got me to thinking how black films and black art gets under appreciated by the public and because the public (move critics, award board, and etc) are still white. Because of this most people miss out on a lot of greatness. I.e the marriage story given to the best actors instead of the best white actors would have hit. Maybe this movie isn’t the best example of what I’m trying to say but I still send by it. The marriage story was some mediocre white acting that was unnecessarily praised for being great. Hot take I know.

Ice Me Out

This trip was so fun. I remover going last year with some friends and was happy to do it again this year. While my skating didn’t get better the fun sure did. It was fun seeing everyone on the ice and gusting free. I saw a couple people fall which is always funny. I also fell which was less funny. But yea the ice rink is always a great mixture of fear and fun.
