Today I did my homework with the cats, which didn’t go out as planned. It was super difficult to socialize with the cats, play with them, and do my Asian Studies homework at the same time. Eventually I gave up and played with Fiona most of the day; however, when I began interacting with the kittens, an adoptee parent had left one of the doors open. At this point, I realized how hard it is to catch a hyperactive and aggressive cat. While it is hard for me to rely on others, in order to protect the cat and those visiting the shelter, the SPCA staff and I worked together to scare Fiona back into her room. Hopefully, this doesn’t put a strain on our relationship.
