Coming back from break, it was nice to take a short hiatus from studying and go ice skating. I went to this event last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. I grew up roller skating and rollerblading, and I have to say even though roller blades and ice skates have similar shapes they’re workings are completely different. A level of balance and grace is needed to successfully maneuver on ice skates, and I can’t help but watch in awe at those who make skating look as natural as walking.

Endless possibilities
This looked like one of the best rose scholar events all year. I was so sad when I found out that I had a ton of work that night and had to email in and tell them to give my spot to someone else. Hopefully, I’ll be able to be apart of it next year. Fingers crossed.
This event looked like a lot of fun and I wish I could have gone. That said, I am terrible at ice skating. I’m that one person that either hangs onto their friends that are really good at skating or holds onto the railings the whole time. Hopefully there is another event like this so I can try to improve my skating skills.
