For this Rose event, I got to leave my comfort zone and join my fellow scholars on ice! I’m not a very good ice skater and I was a little hesitant. However, I am so glad I tried ice skating. Everyone seemed a little all over the place in their ice skating abilities. Between the center of Olympic figure skaters and those clinging to the wall for dear life, I felt oddly comfortable as I slowly mastered balancing. It was really nice to try something new and fun. Ice skating was a great and adventurous way to start the school year.

I love this event. I got to go last year but this year the spaces filled up so fast. I’m not very good at ice skating but I think it’s so fun skating with friends especially when there’s music playing. I’m glad you got to go and had a fun start to the semester!
