New Tool to Help Farmers with Selective Dry Cow Therapy

With funding provided from the New York Farm Viability Institute, the Center for Agricultural Development & Entrepreneurship (CADE) and Cornell University Quality Milk Production Services (QMPS) collaborated to create a new online tool to help producers with selective dry cow therapy (SDCT). The site explains what SDCT is and the benefits to the program, and it outlines tips on how to implement a program for various sized farms. It also includes a wide variety of additional resources and things to consider. For more information on selective dry cow therapy and if it’s the right fit for your farm, check out the online tool, and reach out to your veterinarian or local CCE Dairy Specialist.
