Mid-Semester Survey Responses Needed for Your Classes

Due to the low response rate for the mid-semester survey, I am asking you to please take a few minutes today to give your feedback which may impact the second-half of your MAE course.  This request in your best interest because your input may indicate to the instructor what is working great and what is not working well.  Please refer to the recent e-mail from Professor Sachse concerning  the mid-semester survey link and deadline information.

Continuing Trailblazing Mid-Semester Survey Participation Beginning Monday, March 3 –

Students have always had the opportunity,  at the end of each semester, to communicate to instructors their perception of the strengths and weaknesses of each of the courses being evaluated.   However, the Sibley School recognizes students and instructors may additionally  benefit by students being presented with a survey in the middle of each semester,  providing instructors with students’ insights during the semester, rather than at the completion of the course.

The Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is proud to have introduced to the College of Engineering (COE)  the mid-semester survey for MAE Courses several years ago.  As a result of this successful initiative, these surveys represent a model for which other Majors in the COE are emulating.  We hope you will respond to these survey requests next week. You’ll be asked what is working in the class and what improvements you would like to see implemented.
