Registering for MAE 5250, Computer-Aided Manufacture For Undergraduate Students:

Note:  MAE 5250 will be starting late – on Wednesday Sep 6th.

15 undergraduate slots are available for students who will also take the no-credit lab add-on. This lab add-on provides the training to attain Blue Apron status in the Emerson Machine Shop and allow the use of CNC machines. 10 of the slots are guaranteed for the Student Project Team Program. The remaining 5 are for others needing the training of career interests or other relevant reasons.

Regardless of whether you are part of a Student Project Team or not, you must fill out the admissions survey. Decisions on admission into the class will be made by the MAE Instructional Lab Director in coordination with the MAE Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies. The survey can be found here:

Note: slots that are not filled by the priority groups will be assigned to other students based on need. All criteria for selection may be changed depending on the best interests of the class and program – as determined by the MAE Instructional Lab Director in coordination with the MAE Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies
