The Cornell Engineering Alumni Association has established a $1500 Academic Achievement Award to recognize individuals who enhance undergraduate education, outside of the classroom, who are not tenure track faculty members. Lecturers, instructors, research associates, professional staff, librarians, and lab technicians in the College of Engineering are eligible for this award. [but not graduate TAs]

Criteria: Nominations are encouraged for individuals who have provided outstanding support for undergraduates outside of the classroom. Activities could include mentoring, advising, team support, research support, curriculum enhancement and laboratory support.

If you know of someone in the College of Engineering who you would like to see recognized for service to undergraduates, please send a message of nomination, including the person’s name and a paragraph giving the reason for the nomination, to: crp5@cornell.edu.

The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2021. A committee will choose the winner. The award will be made at a virtual awards ceremony of the Cornell Engineering Alumni Association.
