NEW PROCEDURES IN EFFECT REGARDING LATE COURSE ADD AND CREDIT HOUR CHANGES

Wednesday, February 5th (4pm) is the last day to add or change credit hours for a Spring 2014 course electronically via Student Center.

After February 5th (but before Friday, March 14th) the College of Engineering will allow late adds and credit hour changes to be done using just a paper add slip.  (A separate petition form will not be required during this period as it was in previous semesters.)

For course adds and credit hour changes, the paper add slip will need to be filled out, then stamped/approved by the department offering the course, then signed by your faculty advisor. This form should then be presented at the front desk of the Engineering Registrar’s office in 158 Olin Hall for immediate processing.

Please note:  After the 7th week of the semester (that is, after Friday, March 14th) any enrollment changes, including adds, withdrawals, and credit hour changes will need to be documented using both the add/drop form AND a petition.  (Grade option changes will not  be permitted after Friday, March 14th.)

Questions concerning this policy should be directed to the Engineering Advising Office, 167 Olin, or adv_engineering@cornell.edu.
